This past week Nate and I took the boys on our first camping trip. We opted to rent a camping cabin instead of using tents. Thank the Lord for that because it rained on both days. We were at Jellystone Park in Warrens, WI. Here is a picture of our cabin. It was teeny tiny, enough for a couple beds and a table to pile our shit stuff on.
We headed straight to one of the pools. We wanted to get in the water before the rain came. The boys had a blast once they got over getting sprayed with water. We raced each other down the water slides over and over again. We took pictures in the water with our water camera so those pictures I'll have to share at a later date.
Other than playing in the water we were able to mini golf a couple times, ride swan paddle boats, sit by a couple campfires and just hike around the camp grounds. Despite the rain and the fact that we were practically the ONLY ones there we had a great time. Unfortunately, many of the activities were shut down for the week.... but we were given a free stay so it all worked out.
