Remember those cute fuzzy little chicks? They have since grown up and fattened up so it was time for the annual butchering of chickens at the Bindl farm. Nate said the boys jumped right in and helped to catch the chickens. I wondered how the boys would handle the butchering part but Jacob told me that they had to kill the chickens so we can eat them. OK, I guess.

Jess, I COULD NOT believe it when I saw these pics! That is that you let them go.. Brings back so many memories cuz that was all of us little bindls 20-30 years ago...awe tear:'( It has inspired CHris to come next year if g-ma does it one more year..ahah! MISS YOU ALL!
