Another one bites the dust
My last post was announcing my brothers wedding. Well..... earlier this year on April 19th, my older sister was also married. This was in the pre-bloggin days so I am playing a little catch up.
We traveled to Owatonna where my sister, Rachel, and her new man Jay live. My sister is nothing but conventional so they did things their way and got married at their house. It turned out very nice and of course I was a blubbering idiot. It's my sister, what do you expect!
Married in Hawaii
My little brother is a married man. He exchanged vows in Hawaii on Tuesday with his new wife Katie. I am very sad I was unable to be there but I can't wait to see them for their reception on June 14th. It is so crazy to think of my little brother,William, as married!!!! Congrats little brother... I love you!!! Sorry about the mini picture, it is all I could get for now.

My Beautiful Backyard
Adding pictures to this blog is easy but arranging them the way I want is not, so bear with me. Now that I got that off my chest... here is our summer project.
The boys have been having a lot of fun with all the "snorts" (bobcats, mini escivators, etc.) and dirt in our yard. I don't think they are looking forward to having grass.
We decided to add a walkout once we found out that we could. Nate and uncle Snake have been working very hard and it is almost done! Nate has also started on the addition so soon we will have another room to the house. It is very exciting watching the progress.

Fitchburg days
Fitchburg Days is a local carnival that we had to check out. Be prepared to spend a lot of moola if you go to one of these carnivals....$3 a ride, and if daddy goes with $6!!! It was nice to see Jacob so calm, I think he was a little overwhelmed.
We did discover that Fitchburg has a great park for the boys. We will definitely be going to visit it. Next on our list is either the Italian Festival or Home Town days right here in Verona.

Cheep! Cheep!
Little do they know that come August we will all gather again to butcher the fat, full grown chickens.
Every year Anita (Nate's grandma) orders
baby chicks and takes care of them until
they are ready for eating!!
If you don't help..... No Chicken For You!!
And even I have to admit that they are
very tasty right off the grill.

Softball
Sorry we haven't updated for awhile. We have been having internet problems. A lack of DSL service. We should be back in business now.
Softball is back in full swing!! Team Schwoeglers has started the season off right with a 3 and 0 record. That's not to say that it has been smooth sailing but the end result is what we are looking for. The superfans don't let the players get away with anything! Their second game was a little nerve racking. But...the four players to your left brought us back to win the game with clutch homeruns and some great pitching by Timmy V!
I am looking foward to some nice evenings of softball at the Bowling Green. A special thanks to Grandma Jean. She has generously volunteered to babysit the Bindl boys to make softball night possible for dad AND mom.

ZOO
This is the face Jacob gave me this morning. He wanted to go to the zoo. So, what do you think I did? We packed up a lunch and were off to the zoo.
After saying HI to all the animals, the boys enjoyed a ride on the carousel and played in the new kids playground.
After all that it was time to eat, but Evan was tired of sitting in the stroller and kept runing off.
It was a fun filled day.
I am foreseeing many visits to the zoo this summer.

Beige
Beige, beige, beige! Everything in our house is some form of brown. We need color!! The problem is that we are a design-impaired couple. We plan to enlist the help of our friend/family member Melissa to assist us in adding color to our home. But on Saturday night we decided that we needed some color now, so we painted our kitchen. It turned out a little brighter then we thought but it is growing on us.
Holy Cow, we have a Bindl Blog!!
Well, we bagged Facebook and now we're bloggin'....
Welcome to the Bindl Blog!!!
We've been busy, busy, busy but our plan is to keep you all updated on our life through this blog.
