Livingroom Camp-out

Nate was gone on business this week so I thought it would be fun to have a camp-out with the boys.  I found some batman tablecloths to make a fort with and Nate had bought the boys a lantern.  Of course it went a lot smoother in my head but overall it was fun for all.

Here are some pillows I made the boys for the camp-out.  (Thanks to Amanda for the lesson!)
Batman Fort
 Good night!
I snuggled in right between the boys... for about 10minutes.  Then I moved to the couch and around 2am I made my way to my bed.

Hunting for Leaves

I have quickly figured out the downside of living in a new development ...  lack of fully grown trees.  I miss this the most in Autumn when the leaves are so full of color and then begin to fall on the ground.  Well today we went out on a search for leaves to fill some pumpkin bags.  After filling the bags we did a lot of playing.

Enjoy the rest of Fall!

Busy Barns

This past weekend we headed out to Busy Barns with the Lassahn's.  I was excited to try someplace new but part of me was sad because we have gone to Eugsters for the past 3 years.  BUT.....Busy Barns was great!  The boys had a blast and they never ran out of things to do.  Obstacle course, slides, corn box, apple launcher, corn maze, puppet show, hay ride, various games & activities and lots of animals to feed and hold.  We were exhausted by the time we left.

Hamster wheel
Puppet show
Bean bag / milk jug game came in very handy while waiting 30min for our food.

 Obstacle course

Corn maze

 Ahhh.

No Nap Wednesday!

Naps were not happening today and the whining was beginning to drive me crazy so we headed outside.
The boys had a blast wrestling and running around.  I guess a little fresh air helps everyone.  Now they are enjoying a movie and I am enjoying the quiet.

The wrestling was quite funny.  Evan would run and tackle Jacob and then sing "Rock-a-bye baby.."

I asked the boys to stop and smile for a picture...
Evan is a pretty typical kid and holds up his rock fossil.
Jacob, on the other hand, decides to strike a pose.
I took multiple pics of him and he continued to give me different poses.

Brothers sharing a secret.
