Weekend in Minnesota

This past weekend we headed to MN to visit my family.  We were able to watch Jasmine play a game of volleyball and then we headed back to my parents house for the rest of the weekend.

The boys loved hangin' with their cousins Jabari and Jasmine.  Below are a few pics from the weekend. Jabari started the weekend with a mo-hawk (above) and ended the weekend buzzed (below).

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

For our St. Patty's Day treat we made rainbow cupcakes.  They took a little longer to make but it was worth it.  First I had to divide up the batter and die it.

 

After baking I frosted them and the boys added the sprinkles.

We wanted to see what the middle of them looked like so we decided to have cupcakes for a special breakfast treat.

Kids Disco

Yesterday was Kid's Disco at the Great Dane. 

Jacob and Evan loved it!  They even got their faces painted.

 

The best part was how tired they were when we left.  It is always a good sign when this happens!

Car Wash

Jacob was taking his cars to the sink to 'give them a bath' so we gave him a wash cloth instead.  The boys spent the next hour washing cars and anything else they could find.  While doing this they sang "this is the way we wash our cars, wash our cars, wash our cars. this is the way we wash our cars, so early in the morning."
