Cookie time again.

It's holiday cookie time again. Turkeys for Thanksgiving! Jacob helped paint the turkeys and put the eyes on. Evan put on the beaks. We had a good time but they were labor intensive so we only made a few. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! As you can see from the picture, Jacob was being a little devilish today.
Say "Cheese" Evan.

Snow!

Winter is officially here! I have been in denial, but having to shovel this morning has snapped me back into reality. It was actually pretty warm out once we were all bundled up. The boys had fun helping me shovel and making snow blocks.

Hats

The boys got into the hat box yesterday, so I grabbed the camera. I must have taken 20 pictures. Here are a few. The last is my favorite.

Happy (early) Turkey Day!!!

Today was a project day. We made turkeys and turkey hats.

The boys were so excited about their hats that they had to call everyone to tell them!

(sample conversation below)

"Hi Grandma! How you doing? Good? Good. I have a turkey hat! OK, Bye!"

Gotta love him!

I just about died laughing this afternoon when Jacob put on his back pack!
If you look to the right you will notice that he uses a can cooler for his water. Nate is so proud!

My Monkey

We found a hidden talent of Evan's the other day. We were at the park and we decided to see what he would do if we lifted him to the hanging bars. To our amusement he held on like a champ!
Maybe it was just a fluke? Nope. We lifted him to the high bars and he held on for even longer!

This is one of Jacob's favorites at this park.

More fun with Hammy

Hammy continues to bring fun to our household. This video is of Evan playing with Hammy. It is funny how real he seems, that is, until you see his wheels. Evan mixes up the h and a in Hammy and pronounces it Ah-mmy.

Happy belated Halloween!

Sorry for the late post, it's been crazy in the Bindl household.
So for Halloween we decided to go to our old neighborhood to trick or treat due to the lack of neighbors in our neck of the woods. When we arrived at our friends house we discovered that our kids had the same costumes! Jacob and Adeline were both Tigger. Evan was Pooh (wearing a bee costume) and Colten was Roo. I guess we had a theme going. The boys did a lot better then I anticipated. Jacob fit Tigger's personality of jumping around, asking 'are we going to get more candy?' after every house. Evan also was a good fit for his costume. He was very happy and very slow, eating candy as we went. Both were good about saying 'thank-you', making me a proud momma. The pictures I took weren't the best, but here are a few.
