(They're really watching daddy rip down drywall. Very cool in a little boys eyes.)

Good Times
We have started to send Jacob to a couple extra days of daycare a month until we can find a preschool for him. When he gets home from daycare, the boys are so excited to see one another. They run to each other and give a huge hug and Jacob says 'I missed you brother, it is so nice to see you'. Jacob told Nate on the way home from daycare that Evan was his best friend.
Too cute! I love it!
(So, despite all the fighting they really do love each other.)

Evan's first 'professional' haircut
Evan and I were home alone today so we decided to head over to Sport Clips for Evan's first haircut. Up until this point I have been cutting Evan's hair. It was beginning to get a little too shaggy and it needed a good shaping from the past year of me trying to cut it. He did very well. As long as he had his animal crackers he was happy.
He wasn't in the mood for mommy taking pictures though. Subtle huh?

More San Diego
Here is Jacob with all of our stuff that sat with us on the plane.

Laura had to get creative to help keep the boys entertained when we weren't outside. They loved playing pirates.

The boys slept in Laura's closet. Sounds weird but check it out. She decorated it McQueen style. They really loved it. Thanks Laura and Chris.
Seaworld.... Shamu!!

Reactions to Shamu.
Seaworld had a huge Sesame Street play area that the boys loved!

San Diego Zoo

Walking to the car after a long day at the zoo. Evan was passed out by this time.

The flight home went much better than the flight there. The flight was almost 2 hours shorter and Evan slept for most of it!! We definitely needed that, especially after Jacob set off the AED alarm in the San Diego airport!! I never knew they were so loud!
Thank you aunts Laura and Lisa for everything!!!! We had a great time thanks to you!

We just returned from our trip to San Diego to visit aunts Laura and Lisa. We had a blast!! We were able to visit Sea World and the San Diego Zoo while we were there. The boys loved the beach and were able to see a momma seal have a baby! This was our first vacation with the boys, and I have to admit it was challenging at times but well worth it! Here are a couple pictures, more to come.

Two Handsome gents
We had a family wedding this past weekend. I was a proud mamma when I saw my boys all dressed up. It was a challenge though to get the boys to wear their ties, we pulled a jedi mind trick and told them that they were special dancing ties. That worked right away for Jacob but Evan wasn't fooled so easily. He adjusted to his tie by the time we got there.
Jacob started the dance early and worked the dance floor when the real dance started.
We need to work on workin' the face now.
Evan had more fun mixing drinks.

Evan wasn't able to leave work at work.
Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons started on Valentine's Day for both of the boys. That first week was ear piercing to say the least. This week the boys seemed to warm up a little to the idea of swimming in a pool bigger than themselves. Evan still had the death grip on me but no screaming this time. Jacob discovered the fun of jumping into the pool. Since we both have to get into the water, pictures will be scarce. Aunt Lisa was in town to help us out this week.
