Simple Toys

Nate and I had some work to do outside today so we needed something to keep the boys busy. When we were up in MN last weekend my mom gave each of the boys a spray bottle and told them to go water the plants. So, I gave them the biggest bottles I could find and told them to go paint (a.k.a. spray) the rocks and wash the house. This kept them busy for most of the afternoon. Thanks for the good idea mom!

Go Big or Go Home!

Lately I feel like my life is made up of fun, happy moments with my kids or full blown tantrums, and whining. Not too much of the quiet in between stuff.

Anyone else feeling like this?

Who Needs Snow...

While we were cleaning out the garage tonight the boys found the sled. Looks like fun to me.

Nothin' but Blue Skies

The last couple of days have been beautiful! We have loved being outside again.

The boys walked around the neighborhood looking for bugs, and dirt piles.

We want warm weather!!

Happy Easter Everyone!

The boys had fun making two kinds of Easter eggs last night, traditional ones and Rice Krispie ones. (Thanks to a commercial I saw last week). They also had an Easter egg hunt bright and early this morning at 6:30 and another one out at grandma and grandpa Bindl's. It was a long but fun day... now I'm off to work=) Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Project Time

It has been awhile since we had a craft day so I put the boys in old pj's and some of my old tees and let them go to town. They each had their own letter to color how they wanted with brushes and fingers.

Sometimes there are perks to having an unfinished basement, messes don't matter... as much.
