Ring Around the Rosie

Snow day!

So, just like a lot of moms these days I have been feeling like a prisoner in my own house. The weather has been too cold to go outside on many days and the other days I was just too lazy. We needed a way to burn off some of that energy (other than the frequent visits to Target) so we headed outside. We were only out for about 45 minutes but it did wonders!

I highly recommend it!

Chillin' in my robe

I confess.... I bought these robes simply because I thought the boys would look adorable in them. They usually only keep them on until they warm up, which is about 2 minutes, but this particular day Evan chilled in his robe until we put on his pj's. Those huge slippers and Buster just complete the look!

More birthday fun

Besides opening presents and having cake for Jacob's birthday, we went to Deer Valley Lodge and spent the day at the water park. It was very nice because we were the only ones there for most of the day. The boys had a blast all day and stayed well behaved even without naps. We will definitely be going back there. Here are a couple pics from the water park.

3 years old!!!

Awesome big brother

Jacob is a great big brother! Granted the boys do fight a lot, but that's what boys do. When it comes down to it, Jacob would never let anything happen to his little brother. He even gets mad at us when we put Evan in timeout. He has always enjoyed teaching Evan how to do things, helping feed him and reading him books.

On January 8th Jacob will be turning 3 years old!!! Wow, does time fly! This post will start the Week of Jacob. Every post will have memories of Jacob throughout his 2 years.
